LenSx Femto Laser
Without any additional cost for Premium glasses, for a limited time period.
The innovative LenSx Laser platform offers a revolutionary surgical accuracy which allows the surgeon to access the internal eye structure. It automates some of the most complex aspects of traditional cataract surgery and provides an accurate procedure, which is guided by images and allows cuts to be made in the internal capsule, and to fragment the crystalline, and to make corneal cuts to extract the crystalline. After that the lens is placed and cuts with blades are avoided.
This platform is used for a more accurate and safer cataract surgery.
Phacoemulsification
What is the Surgical Technique?
The surgery to correct presbyopia is carried out in an out-patient mode and using topical anesthetic (eye drops). The intervention is not painful at all and the functional recovery is very quick, and might even last just a few hours.
Currently, the most advanced surgical technique for the correction of cataracts is phacoemulsification. This is a minimally-invasive technique that dissolves, separates or breaks up that crystalline by using ultrasound. After the crystalline is broken, it is vacuumed with small surgical cuts.
After removing the crystalline, a diffractive multifocal intraocular lens of a biocompatible material is implanted, which allows the patient to see clearly both faraway and nearby objects. Thus, the patient will no longer have to use glasses.
At Innova Ocular clinics, phacoemulsification is used for cataract surgery carried out by expert surgeons, who have performed thousands of successful interventions.
